Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Ugh, just a complaint and a vent.

We had our 9 month appointment with our new ped, and we love him!

My complaint: Our former pediatrician circumcised DS, and told us to pull the skin down for a while. We had a few check ups with this pediatrician, and he told us we weren't doing it right, and whenever I asked him how to do it, he would just say "just pull it down all the way". The only "boy" I've seen naked before my DS has been my husband. I have no idea what "all the way" is.

At our 9 month appointment, our new ped actually showed us how to do it, and I've been doing it wrong for DS's entire life! The new ped had to break the skin again, since it grew back a little, and made DS cry, but I'm just p*ssed at our old one.

End rant. Ugh.

if it helps you feel better, our pedi never told us we had to pull it back at all.  now we've been trying to fix the adhesions for over a month :(  very, very frustrating.

The new pedi just pulled our sons skin down all the way, and it bled, but it worked, thank God.
