    Hysterical how I pick all Irish names for my children, yet they have a Pakistani last name. Good thing I've got some Irish blood running through my veins. LOL

    LOL, that is funny.

    I like Irish names a lot (both Laughlin and Riordan are Irish) but I'm pretty much Irish.  Unfortunately our last name is pretty German.  OH WELL, my kids can just be weirdo Irish wannabes.

    I could have really screwed them and hypenated our names (instead of not taking his). Czech-Pakistani...can you even imagine? :)

    Now that would have been hilarious!

    My maiden name is also pretty German, but hard to pronounce/spell.  My poor kids if we had hypenated...but yours probably would have been worse off, because my married name is very easy to spell/pronounce.
