Being on leave early in the pregnancy

Hello ladies.  I am new to this board and new to being pregnant in general.  I'm 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I am currently living in South Korea.  I am going home to the US for six weeks on Sunday just to visit my family without my husband.  Since I'm so early in my pregnancy anything could happen while I'm home.  What are my options for seeing a doctor is something does happen?  Just go to the ER or should I try to go to the nearest military base?  I'm not expecting anything to go wrong but just in case.  I won't see a doctor for the first time til I'm over 13 weeks pregnant.  The OB nurse here in Korea said that that is no big deal and won't really matter in the long run.  What do you guys think?  Thank you for your help.

If something happens while you're home, go to the nearest ER, military or civilian.
