I see people telling them to call the ob , I'm 29 weeks I don't have one if those to call do I talk to my doctor and OB stands for obtrusion? I'm not sure that's how you spell it ... I'm so confused!!

    I am not understanding how you are confused. You really dont have a doctor specializing in pregnancy at this point?

    OB is a reference to Obstetrics and Gynecology, the place where most go for prenatal care. Ob-Gyn physicians specialize in women's reproductive health.

    An OB is an Obsetrician, a Dr who's specialty is pregnancy and delivery. While many, if not most women go to an OB for medical care in pregnancy, some women see their family Dr. If you are reading posts that recommend calling an OB and you are receiving care from your family Dr, then that is who you would call.

    Do you know where you'll be delivering? Call Labor and Delivery if it's late at night or if it's an emergency, go to the ER.

    Many doctor's offices have an on call system at night. Try calling the normal office number. If that doesn't work, call labor and delivery at the hospital you'll be delivering at.

    Ditto MUD.

    If not, heed the advice above, you really shoudl have gone over this with whomever  has been doing your prenatal care - i hope you have been getting prenatal care.

    That is if you aren't a bored 14 year old boy.

    Nope, not MUD. Just someone who is legitimately uneducated. All of her previous posts are on the same level of stupid, not to mention her screen name is her ACTUAL full name.
