Pregnant after a Loss

Zofran question

Has anyone who takes zofran experienced head rushes? As long as I'm sitting I am fine but when I stand up I get a serious head rush and a mini headache.

If its not the zofran I'm thinking its my BP because when I was in the ER the other night my BP was really low for  me, it was 98/55 and I normally run 110-120/70. The ER doc did not seem concerned with this but I am still somewhat worried.

I did call the OB office yesterday after hours and I'm sure they will call me back in a few hours when they open. I'm just looking for a little input.

Re: Zofran question

  • It's probably because your blood pressure is low. It's normal to be low so I wouldn't worry.

  • I give zofran a lot, and have taken it. I did get a little headache, but most people don't. The rest I'm pretty sure is your BP, so that might be the source of the headache. Make sure you are staying hydrated. Good luck!

  • Low blood pressure will totally cause this. My BP runs on the low side normally and I've had it happen to me in the past, even without being pregnant.

  • The nurse called me back and she also thinks its my BP. They told me to give it a few days on the zofran and to stay hydrated and it should go back to normal. Hopefully they are right!
    Thanks for the replies ladies
