ok so I tried making chocolate chip cookies from scratch tonight and they turned out WEIRD! They are like albino or something. They do not look done, but they are. I used unbleached flour do you think that is what it is? But they also taste weird too. They taste too fluffy or something--kind of like those health food versions of chocolate cookies. All in all they are pretty bad. Back to the drawing board!

Use the recipe on the back of the Hershey's chocolate chips. They are the best cookies I have ever made.
It definitely was not the use of unbleached flour that ruined your cookies. Baking is a pretty precise thing, you probably just missed something or mixed something up. If they taste weird, toss them. Good luck on your second batch
