Braxton hicks?

So I have been feeling cramps in the lower part of my stomach since last night. They come about every 10 minutes. Before you ask yes I called my doctor last night and I have an appointment to see him this morning. My question is has anyone has braxton hicks that come so frequently? Or should I be concerned that it is preterm labor?

    I wouldn't describe BHs as cramps. 

    I'd start timing how long they last in addition to how often you're getting them. If they're increasing in intensity, duration and frequency they're likely contractions.
