Disneyland

I'm watching a special behind the scenes of Disneyland resort, really it is just California adventure land. But, I want to go back so bad! I cannot wait for this baby to grow up and experience the magic for the first time.

No point to this post, I'm just feeling like a kid all over again.

Re: Disneyland

  • I can't wait to bring my kids to disneyworld! DH has never been. He has no idea how amazing it is.

I've never been either! But our families are all still in San Diego, so Disneyland is more attainable.

Disneyland is fun too. We had our Petco tradeshow in Anaheim a couple of times. The first time we just went in a free night. The second time we got to use the California Adventure part all to ourselves at night. It was flippin amazing!!!! No lines, vendor carts just handing us free food. Deft one of the highlights of the old working days before SAHM days.

  • I told DH we are going to Disney after I graduate nursing school next year. DD looooves Disneyland and I love watching her enjoy the magic when we go. Our newest DD will be to small for most rides, but we can trade off and take turns taking our older DD on those rides. :

After almost 3 years of IF and a crazy roadside delivery, we are loving life with our second beautiful daughter! Lilypie First Birthday tickers

  • Definitely go. If you haven't been in the last year, California Adventure is an entirely new park now. It's amazing. Carsland alone is spectacular.

I'm hoping that by next year, we'll be financially okay enough for me to afford an annual pass again. I'm about 20 minutes away, and I plan on taking LO for short day trips on a regular basis. Even if we just spend a few hours walking around and taking in the magic, and I can get my exercise in. There are plenty of things to do besides rides, and plenty of ways to enjoy the magic.

  • I LOVE Disneyland! I've gone at least every year as an adult except I haven't been since Dec 2011 :(

We were planning a big trip this fall for DD#1's 3rd birthday in November but now with being due in October we've had to postpone. DS turns 5 in February so we've decided to go then and make that the new tradition and it makes a decent space in between visits.

My son is so excited to get to ride most of the big rides since he was only 3 last time we went and not tall enough to go on anything but the toon town coaster.

My husband and I do WDW every 2 years (since 2007).  We just went in April, trip was all paid for before I discovered I was pregnant....guess early baby moon!  It made for a much more relaxing experience, I must say.  Baby changes things, since I'm of the opinion that I want my child to be old enough to enjoy everything if I'm spending that kind of money.  We do Disneyland/CA adventure every year when we visit family.  Not this year, obviously!  I had really been looking forward to seeing Carsland, but a baby is wayyyyy better.

I can't wait to take my LO to Disneyland, maybe even next year, since I grew up going there and the cost is sooooo much less.  We stay with family and live much closer so save a ton on airfare.

  • A Disneyland trip is on my bucket list, but being a Florida girl, I am a seasonal passholder at WDW.  So this little one will probably have her first trip by 2 months old.  I already have her first Disney outfit.  She has a little Minnie Mouse onesie with an ear hat.  I am all about her experiencing Disney early on.  We are lucky we live close.

  • I so want to go to Disney with LO! MH is not a huge Disney fan and would probably rather go to Universal Studios, which is also fine by me since I have been dying to go to the Wizarding World of HP!

  • My friend and I were just talking about Disneyland as we passed it going to LA. Obviously, I am a Disney World girl, but Land is so much closer. I can't wait to go back!

I haven't been since we left California in 2010.  The show I was watching did a whole exclusive behind the scenes on the new Carsland area, it looks so cool!

I bet you know all the secret stuff about fast passes and things like that.
