Do you buy the godparents a gift to thank them for being godparents? if so what?

do you have to give a certain donation amount to the church?

    I usually did a cute frame with something inscribed on it that personalized it. We always just gave our priest a 100 in cash. Not even sure if that was the norm for a donation but we thought he could do with it what he wanted to.

    We got a donation envelope when we scheduled it. We will give 100.

    I got engraved picture frames for the godparents.
