Stim day 8

Stim day 8 check showed only 6 follicles.one is ready but the others still need to grow a little. Two more nights of stims and recheck Tuesday morning. My e2 is now 626 was 190 on stim day 5 and progesterone is 0.4. How does this sound to you? The nurse still sounded like things were looking good but I just get nervous thinking about only having 6 and knowing they all won't have eggs or fertilize...

    Sounds pretty good! Sometimes there are more than they can see on u/s, but also, it's quality, not quantity, and all it takes is one good one. They might be really good quality and all mature. Your e2 more than doubled, and so they are all putting out estrogen, probably. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    I only had 6 mature follicles at egg retrieval and many smaller. They managed to retrieve 15 eggs but as shown in the ultrasounds only 6 were mature. I was worried that it was a low number especially because I was hoping for a 5 day transfer. When all was said and done 5 fertilized, 3 made it to 5 day blasts and 2 made it to 8 cells but did not make it to freeze. So out of 6 mature, 2 five day blasts were implanted and 1 was frozen.
