I subscribe to both of these boxes and was wondering who else did. They should be arriving sometime this week and thought it would be fun to compare what we get.
(side note: I really wanted to add a clicky poll, but it's not working. I've done it in the past and even pulled up a few tutorials to make sure I was doing it right. thoughts?)
Re: Birchbox & Ipsy
There are so many of these subscription boxes now, I'm ready for something new.
It is a monthly subscription - you are get five "deluxe" samples of beauty products in each box.
I'm at month 7 and I've been thinking of cancelling - I just keep holding out hope that next month will be awesome - that's how they get us.

Check out Ipsy, so many of the ladies on MUT really prefer Ipsy to BB.
I've thought about giving it a go. We're trying to get away from using products that are tested on animals. Do you have any idea if they have an option for that?
I looked at another hippie dippie box that was all organic and cruelty free [can't remember the name at the moment] but I just wasn't sold on it.
Check your BB quiz - there might be an option for cruelty-free/vegan products.

I don't think they have an option for it but I do know that they often have brands that fit those criteria. Here is a link** where one of the forum mods talks about the product ingredients for the products in this month's box:

**warning: this link will contain spoiler's for July's ipsy bag
ETA: I posted on MUT to ask about whether Ipsy tends towards organic and cruelty free brands. Hopefully someone there will know
Check out Petit Vour. It's a monthly subscription of cruelty free miniatures. www.petitvour.com
Thank you!!! This looks neat. I just requested an invite.
Never heard of either, but I started a subscription box for DD called Twinkle Clothes Co. It just popped up very recently.
30$ for 4 pieces. Free s&h for first order. I got a cute Calvin Klein outfit, Tea Collection leggings and a top from American Apparel. Definitely worth the money.
The site is pretty basic, but the customer service is great, and has reasonable shipping times. The business is owned by a mom- just like us. That's another reason why I like it.
not sure if I can post a link, but you can check them out on Facebook, just search Twinkle Clothes Co.
