Spotting after sex

So..I know this is TMI but I was just wondering if spotting after having sex is normal. My SO and I had sex last night and today I have been spotting off and on. Should I be concerned??

    Saw my OB today who said its totally normal for the first tri and the last.....he said if it happens a lot during the second tri to contact them!

    Yes, normal. Your cervix can get irritated easily. I spot every time.

    Lol nothing is ever TMI on a pregnancy board! And yes, it can be very normal to spot after sex. Your cervix is more sensitive as other pp's said. However, if your spotting persists or is accompanied by cramping, call your doctor.

    It seems to be so common in this board, I feel like it's strange I haven't been spotting!

    Whew!!! I was starting to get worried because I didn't know if it was normal or not. Thank you for all the advice!!! I haven't had any cramping and the spotting hasn't been bad....so hopefully everything will be okay. I saw our little one on Tuesday and everything looked great so I'm not as worried as before. Thanks again!!
