PIO pain!

I haven't really complained about PIO...until today. I wonder if I hit a nerve? It is so painful I am limping and my other leg hurts from favoring it! When I sit and put pressure on that side it feels like I have stabbed myself with a sharp object and I just decided to sit down with that object still inside. Also, it only seems to be getting worse throughout the day. Has anyone else had pain like this?

Wow. Anytime my hip rotator bone has to move it is extremely painful

That's exactly what it felt like after DH hit a nerve. It went away after a few days. My nurse said I could use a heating pad for 5 minutes, but that made me nervous after ET. So, I just limp ;

i hope I don't hit a nerve tomorrow on my good side! Then I will need a wheelchair!

Your sciatic nerve is around the same spot your giving your injections. It can cause shooting pain down your leg and/or feel like someone keeps frogging you in the butt cheek. I hope it gets better for you.

That's funny! That was my fear too!

Ouch!! Hopefully it feels better tomorrow!

The PIO is definitely what gives me the most anxiety after seeing how big the needle is!

Yep sounds like you hit the sciatic nerve.  Should resolve in a few days.  Hugs!

This scares me so much. I'll start PIO in a few weeks and am terrified already.

I would put a heating pad on it for sure. Hope you feel better soon.
