I hate it - but the term Henrietta Hippo comes to mind and I don't even know what it's from, but I've heard it often enough to associate it with the name.
DS1 - 9;
DS2 - 6;
Angel - May 10, 2011;
Baby Girl - Due May 19, 2013
We had a doctor in the NICU whose name was Henrietta. She insisted that we call her Hank. We thought it was a perfect coincidence considering we were in the NICU for DS1 whose name is Hank. She was in her 60s, and just an AWESOME care taker.
Eh... don't like it, but for reasons that probably mean nothing to you. I live near a town called Henrietta, NY and it makes me think of a children's book character...
I have no idea why, but it makes me think of a chicken every time I hear it. I can't even form an opinion about it because I keep thinking of a chicken. WTF brain?

It was one of my grandmother's names. She was most often called Henri -- the family pronounced it in the French manner ohn-ree, while non-family called Henry. Either way, the nickname fit her.
It's a family name for me, but not one I would use. I just can't like it, despite the connection. I prefer Henriette, but not much.
Re: Henrietta
I love it!
Adore the NNs Hattie and Etta.

Tell me that you just misspelled NCIS or something. Being a tv geek, mixing up NCIS and CSI is hurtful.
Also, I love Hettie. Not so much Etta but I like Etta James as a name, so. It'd definitely be GP for me.
