I'm sure most of you aren't as squeamish as I am, but I just noticed a pulsing vein in the bend of my arm when I reached over to pet my dog...I'm thankful to have a pulse and all, but I get so grossed out seeing it! Guess I have a lot to get over in the coming months...

It bothers me a lot. I never had veins that stuck out until I got pregnant. I can't even look at them

I remember seeing a pregnant woman several years ago that had horrible varicose veins in her legs...my husband commented that he didn't know how she was shaving her legs! I'm so worried that'll be me because I'm already seeing an increase in noticeable veins. I just get paranoid about the increased blood volume and how my body is handling it. Anxious nut case here...

Yup! I had a friend get an inflamed vein in her tongue while pregnant and she had to have it removed because it was affecting her speech. A girl in my prenatal yoga class got varicose on her labia. No fun! Mine on my legs are already flared up! :
