compassionate care?

Have any of you used compassionate care discount for meds?  I applied since we didn't last time and our meds were craaazy.  also since its based on our income from last year and I was in school full time so DH was the only income (he makes quite a bit but I'm hoping not too much!) But I'm just curious how it works if we are approved.  Do they send me something? do they send the pharmacy something?  I'm just curious how the process works.

    Transferred our UNO embryo Beta #1 27 Beta #2 33 Beta #3 29 CP :(
    IVF #2 Started Lupron 2/14 
    Protocol 10U Lupron, 150 Bravelle, 150 Menopur, HGH for 4 days, Dexamethesone, 
    Supplements 6000mg CoQ10, 100mg DHEA, Vitamin D, Folic Acid,

    I got an email just a few hours later saying we weren't approved.  My nurse was telling me they use a tier system now based on income, but we still didn't make the cut.  I hope you do!  I am using Gonal-f and was still able to use the Go-direct rebates.

    I got a letter in the real mail that we weren't approved, but a friend got an e-mail that she was approved for 50% off.   Three days later she got a card in the mail and it just says to show it to the pharmacy.

    TTC since 9/2011

    IVF #3 w/ICSI = 9/2013 = BFP!   Beta #1 9/9: 79, Beta #2 9/12: 441

    Me-39, HSG 2/13- clear. DS-IUI #1-3/13,300iu Menopur 12 days,3 days Cetrotide, Ovidrel Trigger-BFN. IUI #2 06/13, BFP EDD: 02/22/14 m/c (cp), IUI #3- BFP EDD: 5/17/14 m/c 09/13. Blood work/RPL panel- nk cell/MTHFR mutation- negative. Blood work all good. Unexplained reason for m/c. IUI #4 BFP m/c (cp) 10/13. IUI #5- 12/13 Cancelled. No response. (1)follicle. IUI #5.1- 2/14. IVF Bound
