Date night!! 13 left!

My sister in law suggested we go on as many dates as possible before the baby arrives .... So once a week we have committed to see a movie at our local ciniplex theater. Tuesday movies are half price so this makes our date super affordable and fun. Only 13 more left until our daughter arrives !!!! I cannot wait until she gets here but enjoying this one on one time with my man. Anyone else with date nights planned before baby arrives

That is a really great idea! I doubt me and my DH could follow through with that because of ranching and stuff! They are starting to cut Alfalfa now! So he will be gone a lot at nights for awhile! Maybe in August though!

Unfortunately I don't think DH and I will have anymore dates until he leaves next week for school. I want to go see another movie, but there's not really anyone to leave DD with since my mom left for IL 2 weeks ago.

We bowl on a league on Tuesday nights. That is considered our "date night" for now. It ends at the end of the month so I'm sure we will do something then. It's hard to commit to once a week when you already have a toddler.

Well 13 is not what's left for the rest of time but I'm sure when the baby arrives we won't have as muh spare time. To be honest with you nothing makes me happier than the thought of staying in with my new family, I don't find it scary at all. Guess I'm just ready for the next chapter... Couldn't be happier or more in love.

I feel you both...I just turned 27 weeks today and am having a minor panic attack over it, lol. I don't have any dates planned, but OP reminded me I should talk to the boyfriend about it since soon date nights will be over! Enjoy your night!

We have DS who is 10 so we can't do weekly but we try our hardest to do date night when he goes to visit friends.

DH just started a new job and he is in training 1213 hours a day. So he is pretty tired to do much so our date nights are usually dinners. But we definitely try especially since he will be starting. 6 day gone 3 day home rotation mid July.

We don't ever do crap. He's either gone doing Navy stuff, we don't have the extra money or we can't find a baby sitter for the other 3 girls.

We are def focusing more on couple time! This year instead of going to a big group thing for the 4th of July we are sleeping in, catching a matinee movie, BBQing and then walking the neighborhood to watch fireworks. So excited to meet LO but enjoying trying to savor these final months of just us!

Such a great idea! We use to do date night once a month, we are so busy in general it was a special night to connect. We are traveling a bunch this summer, hoping we can squeeze some cheap fun in too!

What a great idea, my husband and I were both off today for done strange reason! Went for our appointment today, then went on a "nature walk" it was beautiful outside, enjoyed some time to our selves. Super tired now, made a nice dinner together, we cook, listen to music and usually drink beer or wine!
We need to spend some more time with each other before LO comes, then we can somehow include her!!!

We just found a sitter we love so we are excited to squeeze in a few date nights before baby #3 arrives.

Had no idea it was only thirteen (maybe I have 14) weeks to go though.  We need a name, and a place for baby to sleep, and I need to clean our car seat. . .

I think you just popped my happy little bubble of procrastination and denial.

That's so funny.  Yesterday, my husband said 14 weeks left.  I said, that's only 14 Mondays, 14 weekends, etc.  He was like wow.   I never thought of it that way.
