STM's weight gain then and now?

Morning ladies! Just curious, how has your weight gain compared this time to the previous times? I think at this point with DD I'd gained 5ish and this morning up 2. So, more or less similar. Anyone drastically different?

I'm gaining drastically less this time around. I haven't weighed in a week, but I was down a lb or two from when I got pg. This time last pregnacy, I was up about 12lbs. I did IVF and was pumped full of all kinds of meds that I swore made me gain tons.

At my 12-week appointment, I had lost 2 pounds overall. At my 12-week appointment with my DD, I had gained 5. I was actually sicker with my first pregnancy, so it doesn't make sense. I am sure I've gained since then, though, because the nausea is gone and my appetite is back in a big way.

Mine is drastically different than with DD. By this time with DD I had already gained 10 lbs. At my appt yesterday my total weight gain so far this pregnancy is zero. I think it's a little bit of eating better than I did with her (no m/s this time so no carb overeating) and loss of muscle tone (since I'm not working out). I'm also not working 12-14 hour night shifts this time around.

Haven't gained anything yet. I think that is in part because i'm still BFing my DD

Last pregnancy I had gained around five pounds by now. This one I have gained three. I am hoping that I am a little slower to gain since I weighed eight pounds less when I got pregnant last time. Thankfully I've been able to continue working out and haven't been as sick. I don't want to gain more than 25 pounds this time around.

I'm gaining on track with my previous two pregnancies. I only gained about 10 pounds during my first two trimesters, then I just blew up during 3rd. I'm gonna have to watch that super close this time around.

I've lost weight this time ... about 13 lbs total ... but hopefully that will start to change!!!

With DS .... I think by now I had gained only a few pounds ... but I was lighter in weight then I am now ... I was only about 110 lbs pre-pregnancy...

I lost 13 lbs in first tri with my son. This pregnancy I have lost 23lbs but have held strong at that weight for a few weeks now. I'm pretty happy with that so far :mobile smiley:

Last pg I gained a total of 50lbs. Granted I was hugely and grossly swollen, but I'd like to stay around 35 this time.

I haven't gained anything yet this time around, but I started up about 5 lbs more than I was with DD. I gained 35 lbs last time total. I would like to keep it around 25 lbs this time so I'm trying to not indulge in every (unhealthy) craving, and I'm trying to stay more active.

So different. With DS I only gained 8 lbs in the first two tris. Then third tri I gained 20! This time I've gained six already. It scares me.

Last pg I think I gained 5 lbs by now, this time I've lost 2 then up one, so down 1 lbs overall. I think I'm going to have a hard time not gaining once I wean DS from BFing. I'm trying not to stress about it but I'm finding myself unable to resist a weigh in every morning. I really don't want to gain 50 lbs again this time!

I have a tendency to lose weight up until 20 or so weeks.  I have lost 5 lbs this pregnancy which is less than I have in previous pregnancies, but I started out 20lbs lighter than I was when I got pregnant with DS and 10 lbs lighter than when I got pregnant with DD.  Percentage wise I've lost a similar amount of weight.

I am up about 3 lbs. so far, and by this time with DS I was up at least 5, so not too much difference.  I gained 42 lbs. with him and am really hoping to not gain more than 35 this time around.  We'll see...

I didn't keep track really last time, but I just feel like I am gaining a lot quicker this time. I am already up 5lbs and I have even been working out more then I did last time. Buuuuuut I have been way more hungry this time. I really think I am having a boy. Not that being hungry has anything to do with that, but I just feel it!

With DD I gained like 8-9lb my first tri, nothing my second, and the rest of my third. With this bean, I've only gained 2lb here at the end of my first tri. We will see how the rest goes!

Mine is different. With dd I probably gained about 10-12 lbs by now (12 wk). This time around I gain 1/2 lb. I'm eating much better and not eating all carbs and drinking ginger ale like last time.

I started both pregnancies at the virtually the same weight. I am almost 12 weeks now and am down a few pounds just like last time. It is interesting because this time around even though I have lost weight my bump is OUT!
