Surprise!

So I'm at my dr appointment and they tell me surprise we are doing a glucose test today. Uh ok I'm not prepared and already take metformin which I am not supposed to take before the test. I had no idea so this morning I have eaten unhealthy things and taken my medicine. I just want to cry right now this is my 2nd one in 2 months and I'm sure I will have a 3 hour after this because I'm sure I will fail. After my high risk appointment yesterday they sent over paperwork saying I needed to take another one at my next appointment which is today so I had no prior warning. Thanks docs I really appreciate it.

Life is Exciting

That sounds so stupid of the doc. I'd have asked to come back tomorrow and do it. Not to mention you have to wait around in the doc's office for an hour.

They pulled that crap on me at my 12 week appointment. Just sprang it on me. Luckily, I've been off the metformin for months and am not really borderline, so my eating didn't seem to affect it.
