I am two days late and I got a negative. The past few days I have been horribly nauseated, tired, headaches, heartburn, sore breasts and abdominal cramping. I really think i am pregnant...but nothing shows up.

I dont track my basal body temp. But I do have a regular 28 day cycle.

I was charting so I tested before my missed period.  Since I assume you weren't tracking your basal body temperature, you really don't know when/if you ovulated and if you are in fact late.  Test once a week until you get a positive or your period.  If you go 60 days without a period, give your doctor a call.

All of this.  I had no idea what my cycles would have been like post birth control and charting really helped me actually figure out what would have been late for me (as in how long my longest luteal phase was).

I was charting and with the boys I was a day late.

With her I was about 12dpo I think

10 dpo or 4 days before a missed period. Also, morning sickness didn't start until 6 weeks pg for me.

Unless you were charting (and thus able to see your exact date of O), you won't know for sure what "late" is for you on any given cycle. If you were truly late, you should be able to get a positive. In many cases you can get a positive test even before AF is late. I'm not saying you aren't pregnant, just that your cycle probably isn't what you think it is right now (you may have O'd later), and you should probably test again in a few days. Good luck!

I was four days late but I think I may have ovulated later than the "normal" 14 day O

I am going through the same thing but I am 5 days late and still negative ..... This would be baby number 2 and with DD, I wasn't even late and I got a positive. AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
