Drinking and FF

Okay so this is probably a dumb question/statement and I'm kind of embarrassed to ask, but I'm just really confused about documenting drinking in FF. 

So, I document that I drank on Thursday night, but then it affects my temp the next morning. Does FF recognize that the high temp on Friday is from the drinking on Thursday night? Should I be marking anything on Friday too?

I'm pretty sure that FF doesn't recognize it when you put things that that in. It's just to help you remember what caused the higher temp. I'm pretty sure it's the same as if you put in "cramping" or whatever. FF doesn't take it into consideration when giving you CHs.

FF doesn't recognize drinking like it does sleep deprived.  Marking drinking is just for you to remember why that temp may be not as reliable as it could be.  Whether you mark it the night you drink or the next day for the temperature it actually affects is really up to you.  I choose to mark it the next day so that I remember which temperature is affected.  Good luck!

This is what I wanted to do, but I wasn't sure how FF would accept the info. Thanks for clarification!
