DQ has let me down

H went out to get us the blizzards in a waffle cone and I am just letting everyone know, don't be fooled. The waffle cones themselves were not tasty and I think they probably hold less ice cream than a mini blizzard.  Plus they were more expensive.  Not cool DQ, not cool.

I have to make a sad confession...I've never been to DQ! I feel like I'm missing out on a great part of life lol. Now I really really want to find one and go!!!!!! Sorry your treat was a let down!

I'm sorry! DH used to work at DQ he said it is about the size of a mini blizzard he believes, and some DQ will have the cones sit around for two weeks if they don't go through them fast enough.

I am let down frequently by them. I don't like bananas, at all. I never get any sort of blizzard that has banana in it, yet 75 of the time, I find a Chunk of banana in mine. so I feel your pain.

I just had a Cookies and Cream Blizzard. Sooo good, never tried the waffle cone.

H and I went to see World War Z on Saturday and then went to DQ to get the new Smore blizzard. I was going to get it in a waffle cone until the person in front of us ordered one and I saw how small they were. Definitely not worth it. But the Smore blizzard was sssoooo good!!!

I love DQ. I love blizzards especially when I'm pregnant. I had thought about the waffle cone one but could never pull the trigger, thanks for the warning. Much easier to transport home in a cup anyway. The last time I was there, we were trying to decide what to get and a guy two cars back yelled at me and told me to hurry up. I was so angry I almost got out of the car and started pregnant lady yelling at him. Usually the little 16 year old girls do a pretty good job with our order though.

THIS.  I just had a Reese cup blizzard tonight and it was good.  But the super tanned high school queens that work there more often than not screw up my order.  Just a few weeks ago , I really wanted a peanut buster parfait, got it and brought it home. Instead of fudge, they put that hardening chocolate dip crap in it.  I was SOOOOO pissed!!

I wish you all lived in pittsburgh and could visit my DH dq. He makes his waffles daily. Most dqs don't do this but he insists. Really though waffles aren't that snazzy fresh either!

Wow after reading all these responses, I'm feel pretty grateful that the teenagers working at my DQ seem pretty competent... I have been relying pretty heavily on DQ as one of my main food groups for the last few weeks!

I think I'm the only person I know that doesn't like DQ ice cream. Their burgers are pretty awesome tho...

Definitely my biggest pet peeve at DQ = insufficient Oreo blending. It matters! ; Mmmmm all this talk of ice cream on a Monday morning is really going to test my willpower. Good thing it cooled off here in Wisco.
