I'm worried about my daughters oral health... She is 13 months old and does not like when I try to brush her teeth. I feel like because of this I am not brushing as good as I could be. Does anyone have any recommendations or advise as to what I can do to make it more enjoyable for her? TIA
No advice, I can commiserate though. DD2 used to love having her teeth brushed until 15 months. Now she is a beast and I have to hold her down everyday and do the best I can. She only drinks milk and water and is getting brown buildup on her upper teeth along the gum line. I use a toothbrush and a wash rag and she hates both.
i always sing a "brush your teeth" song when i do it... he loves it and opens up his mouth every time.
We have a few of these, and it works really well. Also, DH and I have electric toothbrushes, so sometimes we'll make that noise...he thinks it's great. doesn't hurt that his toothbrush/paste is Thomas and that that's his favorite thing in the world.
