How is the Adopt a Family going?  Have you gotten a lot of donations?

    It's going ok. We have about 180$ in Donations. I'm hoping to get at last 150$ per family member though (so 450$ for a family of 3?), so we'll see how it goes. If we don't get enough to actually adopt a family, the organization does also have an option for just doing cash donations if you are unable to adopt at a whole family, so if we aren't able to get enough money together to to really make a difference for one family, I will look into making a cash donation for the organization.

    I am actually disappointed to hear that.  At least cash donations are an option, but I hope we get to help a family directly.

    I do to! I'll be making another cheerleader post soon and then next week i'll probably bug the crap out of people (aka post daily) until the cut off day.

     I was thinking that maybe for next year I should just open up a paypal that people can donate to periodically throughout the year if they want to, so basically collect donations for the whole  year to adopt a family in december.
