2nd baby

I'm getting very anxious... My 2 1/2 year old is very much a mamas boy and won't let me even hold another baby! What do I do! I know I have 8 months but I'm starting to worry he will not be happy at all about the new change! Any ideas?

J/k I think the most important thing while he is adjusting to the baby is making sure he helps you, just like he helps pick up toys he can help throw away diapers, get pacis, all that sort of thing (My DD stands right next to me while I change DS2s diaper because she LOVES throwing them away, lol). Its hard, because he is still your 'baby', but starting now dont baby him. Tell him he is a big boy now and big boys do 'X'.

Once the baby comes maybe family members/friends could come once in a while to take him to the library or the park so he has a chance to get out with out baby.
