More than spotting

I'm curious if anyone has had bleeding 23 days after ovulation that is more than just spotting. I had spotting yesterday a very light pink. Today I had to use a tampon all day, but now there's nothing again. I'm on CD 20 and ovulated on the 18 based on temperature and positive opk.

I've never had this and don't know if it is just an odd cycle or something I should ask the doctor about.

Eta: I just had a major reading fail. I've had something similar happen, although I was not positive I'd o'd.

If you have had to use a tampon, I would just assume it was either an odd cycle or would anticipate my period coming in full force in the next few days. And if you think it's something else, you can always take a test. I doubt I would ask my doctor about it.
