Discolored belly button

Ok so this is super gross but I'll share in case it helps anyone. So my belly button never went to an outtie but it did get totally flat while I was pregnant. And it got darker which made sense as it was part of my linea negra. Well recently I was checking out the condition of my postpartum belly and was kind of dismayed to see the my belly button was still dark even though the line seems to be a little faded. Then I touched it or something and some of the dark brown wiped away!!!! I kept wiping and sure enough the inside was coated with a layer of crusty dark brown stuff. I'm not sure if it was built up dead skin or lotion or what but its back to normal now. I swear I take a shower every day and I'm not grossly unhygienic.

Same for me! With some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball, it disappeared! The line is still there.

Me too....weird cause I never noticed needing to hardcore scrub my belly button before.
