Anyone test out trigger?

I have always done this with my iui's but I'm so mad I didn't with this IVF cycle, darn it. Now, when I decide to test, I won't know if it's real or trigger. Those of you who tested it out, when was it out of your system? In the past, it's been out of my system by 8/9 days. I triggered on Monday the 17th, but only did a 1/2 dose (1 Ovidril instead of 2) because my E2 was already high and he didn't want to "enhance" any OHSS.

Now I feel bipolar. After my post earlier and my huge breakdown...I "might" have a really good reason for asking this question...see my blog for a pic Give me a minute to get it up there.

I tested negative 12 days after trigger shot and 5 days after the 5 day transfer. I tested positive 15 days after trigger and 7 and 8 days after transfer. The meds don't consistently get out of my system each ivf or iui. GL and I hope this helps!

Thanks! I'm 11 days after today. I wish I would have started testing it out much earlier. Now, I'm just confused!

For an IUI with the trigger it was out at day 8. My IVf trigger was IM and was out before the ET even. So it was about 5-6 days. 

I have never heard of a + being from a trigger at 5dp5dt.  

ETA: just saw your blog. I got a positive at 4dp5dt too (at night). I couldn't believe what I was seeing so I decided I was seeing things. Then it was darker the next day. I think it is looking good for you!!

I'm one of the weird ones. Every time I tested out my 10,000 iu trigger during our TI cycles, it took about 13 to 14 days for a definite negative. I was high risk for OHSS during our IVF cycle, so I triggered with 5,000 iu. I started testing at 3dp5dt (I know. I'm crazy.), and it was a faint positive. On 4dp5dt, it was a definite positive, so I never actually got a negative. 

 I don't want to get your hopes up, but it looks too dark to still be just the trigger! Test again in the morning, but I think it's a good sign! good luck!!!

I wondered this, too...but I wouldn't put anything past my body at this point. Now I'm crying again. Sweet heavens. I will definitely test in the morning to compare them. Oh my. Now what have I done to myself! I miss the days when a + test was just a + test and there wasn't anything to analyze! Darn you IF.

I can't see your blog trough my phone but hope that it is all good news today! If it makes you feel any more hopeful but trigger is out and I am still getting white so I think it's a good sign you are getting something since we triggered on the same day and I did full dose!!!!

Thanks ladies. I tested this morning, even though it was only nine hours after my test last night and it was so faint. I'm sure DH wouldn't even be able to see it. I can see it if I bend it in the light. So, I'm thinking my test last night was still trigger. But, at least I know now!

I did a Lupron trigger so nothing there to test out. However, they did give me a shot of HCG in my arm while I was under for the ER. I tested that every day and it was out of my system 1dp5dt.

Just updating so that it might help other women someday. Test was stark white this morning at 6dp5dt. So, that was definitely trigger. It was pretty dark too, so it's possible. I usually metabolize that crap pretty fast. Just another IF mind F...seriously, when does this crap end? I'm over it already and still have a week until beta.

Hi beachy! Right there with you. Ingot excited the other day for a faint faint squinty line and then had a stark white the next day. I decided to not test today. I am 8dp3dt and I think I will wait at least till tomorrow. Hopefully even Tuesday. We are on vacation with visitors so its easy to be distracted! I'm not feeling too optimistic at all though.
