Birthday blues.

Today is my birthday. Except it doesn't feel like it. It's a grey, rainy day. And there's nothing to do and nothing I can do. I feel melancholy and lonely. My family lives an hour and a half away, and the only friends I have live nearly four hours away.

And my parents haven't even called to say happy birthday.

I didn't get to buy the 3DS and game I wanted. I didn't feel like dropping 200 on a system and one game.

And on top of everything, I'm sore and sunburned and miserable.

This day doesn't feel special and I don't feel special on this day.

Maybe I'll just take a nap.
