Transferring frozen embryos to a different clinic

If anyone has ever transferred their frozen embryos to a new clinic, how long did the process take? I feel like I've been waiting forever for this new clinic to go through all their procedures to accept my embryos. I just don't understand why it's taking so long; and of course since I'm getting older by the second I just want to get going with this FET already.
