appt last week, dr. told me to ease off the carbs a little.
Questions, concerns, etc? nope
GTKY: What progress have you made in prepping for baby's arrival? we've been slacking lately. We cleaned out the nursery and installed the closet organizer a long time ago. We need to order our large items (crib, dresser, carseat, stroller) soon! I'd like to have it finished before I go back to work in the fall.
26 weeks 2 days
Next appointment is at 28 weeks.
We have the crib set up but no bedding. I have it but I don't want to he to wash it twice. Same reason Im not washing her clothes yet either.
H got the wall decals and plaques up this weekend.
And I am so frustrated with restless leg/arms. I got 4 hours of sleep last night. I don't want to but am strongly considering a sleeping pill unisom tonight

Any appointments or updates? July 11th is my GD test w/ u/s
Questions, concerns, etc? With my loss EDD coming up I have been a worry wart lately. I am back to over analyzing the TP after every bathroom break, checking my panties every 5 minutes, freaking out about symptoms or lack there of. I guess because I realized how close I am to something that was taken away from me I'm scared of it happening.
GTKY: What progress have you made in prepping for baby's arrival? So far I've made one thing for the nursery. We do have her infant car seat. And one onesie that says "little sister". Aaaand, that's about it. July will be our big month to work on the nursery and buy the double stroller.
Just had a quickie appt. Baby sounded great. My weight was up a little more than I would have liked, but I refuse to stress about it I'm already getting nervous for next month's glucose test since with DS2 I failed the 1 hour and had to do the 3 hour.
QOTW: Since this is boy number 3 for us, we're not planning to do a lot in preparation. I have bought a few boy outfits, since we were team green the last two times, so all our infant stuff is gender neutral. Our main thing is buying a new car, which we're planning to do late August.

Any appointments or updates?
Appointment yesterday, but no real updates. Everything is looking good! I think baby boy had the hiccups yesterday, which was a very interesting sensation...
Questions, concerns, etc? Feeling pretty good. Some physical aches and pains, but I am not super uncomfortable yet. I have a sense of what may be looming in the 3rd tri, though (sciatica, heartburn... oof).
GTKY: What progress have you made in prepping for baby's arrival? We started our Bradley Method classes this week and I bought some prints for the nursery wall. Oh, and I have my travel system. That's about it so far...

I'm jealous that you have the closet organizer in! I've been bugging DH to clean out the guest closet so I can clean out the rest of the nursery closet. We don't have any furniture yet, but family members have asked to purchase the crib and dresser, so I just have to be patient (and grateful!).
Rsigler, I think yesterday was the first time baby boy had hiccups -- at least, it's the only time i felt movement rhythmic enough to potentially be hiccups.
How far along are you?
24 weeks and a few days
Any appointments or updates?
Had a regular OB appt yesterday and set my csection date for 10/9, with the option of moving it up a week or two if needed. Having a date nailed down puts my mind at ease, and gives me a date to shoot for.
Questions, concerns, etc?
Baby girl has hiccups all.the.time. Probably 8 to 10 times a day. Anyone else have this? It makes me super nervous because I lost DD aldue to a cord accident, and hiccups can be a sign of cord issues. But my OB has reassured me that hiccups are totally normal for this gestational age. Just wondering if any other moms have hiccuppy babies.
GTKY: What progress have you made in prepping for baby's arrival?
None. I won't be doing much to the nursery before this baby's arrival, aside from washing a few onesies and packing a hospital bag. The rest can wait until after she's here. Doing anything else to prepare feels a little too much like counting the chickens before they've hatched.
Congrats on having a date set! Sorry about the hiccups. I'm sure it must be unnerving. I hope someone else with experience with hiccups is able to help you.

We have a few outfits and haven't washed anything yet. I want to get decals too, let me know how easy they are to install. I have mild RLS, losing sleep is really difficult. My allergies have been had bad lately so I took a benadryl and slept pretty good that night. I woke up with so much energy the next day. The unisom may help you with the difficult nights.
Had my 2nd anatomy scan, and the baby looked perfect.
Nope! I definitely wish my back and hips would stop hurting so much.
we have all the big furniture, and the stroller/car seat. Now we need clothes, diapers, all the little things.
Congrats on the A/S! It's so amazing how much they develop between ultrasounds. Are there stretches that will help with your back and hips? I'm sorry you're in pain. BTW, I'm jealous you have all the big stuff taken care of for baby, my husband and I need to start buying stuff!

I'm sorry that you are having a difficult week. I hope that you are able to treat yourself this week to something nice. Sending good thoughts your way! July will be our month to start buying the furniture/car seat/stroller. I'm ready to start shopping though!
I haven't done a thing. I am so unprepared compared to last time.
Good luck on your glucose test next week! I feel unprepared too. I have a friend who is 2 months behind me in pregnancy and she's more prepared than I am. I think it's time to start shopping!

Once DH installed the nursery closet he was going to install one in our closet as well. That was over a month ago... I guess I can admire my baby's closet! That's nice of your family to buy the furniture. My in-laws also said they would help buy the furniture, so that will help us a lot too but being patient is difficult!
Any appointments or updates? Had an U/S yesterday and the bleed is gone and the abruption is sealed! Bonus is, I'm still not going back to work till after Greyson is here.
GTKY: What progress have you made in prepping for baby's arrival? Not too much lately. Our basement flooded so Maddox has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor in Greyson's room. Everything has been torn up and it is driving me insane!
Glad the bleeding is gone! Congrats on the not having to go back to work until afterwards! Sorry to hear about your basement, that would be very stressful.
