Trying to Get Pregnant

Let's Talk OPKs

What do we think about OPKs?  My primary wonder is--- if you never see a positive OPK does that mean you're having an anovulatory cycle?  I know temping is one trick to checking for ovulation, but I'm just wondering about the OPKs.

Re: Let's Talk OPKs

  • Some women have a hard time catching their surge and seeing a positive, that's one reason many ladies here test 2-3 times a day.  Temping is not a trick, it's the only way to confirm O (seeing a sustained temp shift) and I would definitely give it a try before thinking you're having anovulatory cycles.  Good luck.
