Ok. Freaking out a bit. We leave tomorrow for a three week vacation overseas. My OB and MFM say we are all healthy and look good. I plan to take it easy and go at my own pace.
However, I am starting to get freaked out about being in overseas and away from my doctors. My cervix measured 2.7 which my MFM said is within normal range. I know this board is not supposed to be all puppies and rainbows but please help me quell my fears by telling me positive travel stories.

Re: Anyone travel while pregnant?
I did, up until 20 weeks (and that was a self-imposed "line in the sand")
That said, I had no reason to be concerned -- and they would have let me travel, too. Maybe, just to be safe, research and know where you'd go to the hospital if, by some chance, you needed to go. I started having non-stop BH contractions out of nowhere at 22 weeks, and everything starting getting really complicated. But again, no warning, no nothing -- I would have been allowed to travel, no issues, at 20 weeks.
I think, like PPs said -- listen to your body, and really just know where you'd go if you had to. Not fun to think about, but at least you'll know where to go in the unlikely event that you need to.

You have your doctor's permission, so as long as you stay within your comfort zone, you should be fine. Just make sure you know where all the local hospitals are.
I never travelled very far, but I did fly three times during my pregnancy. I went to Vegas for a girls' vacation at 12 weeks, Houston for a client conference at 18 weeks and Baton Rouge for a baby shower at 23 weeks.
The last trip was a bit much for me. I was really starting to get big and walking through the airport was exhausting.
Just stay hydrated and only do what feels comfortable.
I didn't have a need to travel overseas but I did three long distance trips between 18 - 27 weeks without any problems. I was just very, very tired by the end of the day on that last one. Listen to your body and rest when you need to; you'll do great!
A friend recommended researching ahead of time where good hospitals/medical facilities are in relation to where you'll be. It'll give you some peace of mind and you can laugh about it later when you have no reason to utilize any of that information.
