I am hoping you ladies can help here, I lurk often so I know you ladies tell it like it is and generally don't do made up names
Here is what we are working with...
DD#1's name is Emery. My name and DH's end in the same 'ee' sound so we are hoping for a name that fits this way. We didn't think about it when we named her, but at this point I think it would sound weird to have DD#2 be Pat for example. It isn't set in stone, just a preference.
We would like the name to be out of the top 100.
Last name starts with J, and the middle name is Harlan (DH's middle name) DD#1 has my middle name and we want to keep the tradition for DH. His current fave is Keely, mine is Ruby but we aren't in love with either.
Work your magic ladies!
Re: Struggling with a name for DD#2
A lot of names that end in the ee sound seem like more of nns to me.
Names most people will question
Avery
Riley
Aubrey
My favorite is Audrey but its top 100
Keri
Jodi
Jolie
I love Ruby, but am not a fan of Keely.
What about...
Carly, Valerie, Molly, Darby, Macy, Ivy
Marriage: 4/2008
Baby Carriage #1: 5/2012
Baby Carriage #2: 1/2016
I now what you mean. A lot of the names on our initial list (like Jamie)could be questioned as a boy or girl name. Because the middle name is a "boy" name we want to be sure the first name is all girl. I also love Audrey, but we have a family member that we see often with that name already

Carly I really like but that is SIL's name. DH had a dog named Molly growing up. I like Darby
Macy is where you go shopping according to DH. And Ivy was on our list until I said Emery and Ivy together, then all I could think of was the song "Ebony and Ivory" lol.

Other ideas:
Libby (could be Elizabeth nn Libby)
Naomi
Paisley
Penelope
Delaney
Darcy (I prefer Darcey spelling though)
Phoebe
Mallory

Leonie
Amelie

Rory
Esme
Abby/Addy (and they could be the NN for a variety of other names)
Clementi (GP name for me!)
Evie (great NN for Evelyn)
chart.
I love Hattie, but my BFF named her DD that last year... Which was my fault because she wanted to name her Hadley and I talked her out of it and into Hattie
I love Ainsley as much as Ruby, but DH says it sounds too "fancy" to him? DH is pickier than I am.
BFP #1 1/11/11 M/C 2/4/11
BFP #2 6/13/11 Baby E born 2/18/12
BFP #3 12/3/12 C/P 12/5/12
BFP #4 2/10/13 Baby R born 10/19/13
Holly is a great name but DH had a stalker for 2 years named Holly. She was a sweet girl (I bumped into her outside his work one night and chatted with her not realizing who she was)but DH has a bad association with the name.

I love Avery too. It was on our list the first go around but DH's cousin named her DD that while I was PG
if we didn't see them all the time it wouldn't matter, but I could see it being awkward.
