Hi Everyone!
I hope this is the right board to post this, but if not, please direct me to where I should post.
My LMP was on May 24th. I am a regular 26 day cycle, for the past 4 years at least. My Period was due 6/18 and I haven't had it yet. What I do have is very inconsistent spotting - no cramping at all. It's darker in color and really. This has been going on since Monday. I took two pregnancy tests, one on 6/23 and one on 6/24. Both negative. No change since Monday - still spotting (and its very light). I'm thinking I may have calculated my LMP wrong - I have been told to track the 1st day of any bleeding as your period by some, and to track the first day of heavy flow by others - I have been tracking by first day of ANY sight of bleeding.
I am not stressed and pretty healthy - I guess my question is? Should I test again? And if so, when? Or, do I just call a doctor since I am technically a little over a week late.
Thanks!
Re: Help, please - Late Period, Negative Tests
Negative HPT= not pregnant. The bleeding/ cramping you are experience is more than likely your period
You're always regular...until you aren't.
You probably O'd later this month for whatever reason. It happens.
CD 1 (first day of your LMP) is the first day of flow heavy enough to require a pad/tampon.
Try reading the Newbie Link/blog. It has tons of great info.
Welcome and good luck
You should be counting CD 1 as the first day you need a tampon or pad. Sometimes wonky cycles can happen. You could have ovulated later than your previous cycles. Test once a week until you get a positive or your period. If you get to 60 days since your last period, call your Dr.
You may want to check out Fertility Friend to learn about temping & charting your cycle if you do not end up with a positive. It really helps eliminate the guessing & panicking.
GL!
Yes to all of this
I've totally been in your shoes and know how frustrating this can be. I hope you get some answer soon!

Great!
Thank you for all of the responses - extremely helpful!
CD1 is the first day of a full flow in which you need a pad or tampon. Despite being regular for years, everyone can have a wonky cycle. If you ovulated later than normal, you period will be later and therefore you probably aren't late yet.
Test once a week until you get a BFP or your period. If you reach 60 days with no period, call your doc and have them jump start your cycle with provera.
