Leaving Baby With Dad Overnight

Our baby girl is 10 mo old.  She still wakes up 1x at night to get fed- but lately (I think due to teething) she is waking up more than that and the only thing that comforts her is nursing.... (for like an hour!) until she falls back to sleep.  I tried to have my husband take over last night to see how it would go with him and she screamed until I finally went in and nursed her.  Tonight I *have* to leave them alone over night due to unfortunate circumstances.  Any advice for dad?!!? We are both really worried about how tonight is going to go.

I was thinking the same way as PP. Once she realizes that Mom's not coming to the rescue she'll most likely calm down and enjoy some daddy time. I've noticed that the only time my daughter cries for me is when she knows I'm in the house but if I'm gone for 5-10 minutes she forgets about me and focuses on Dad.
