Baby Names

"H" siblings

Saw on facebook a brood of H names.  They were - Harper, Huxley, Hadlee, and Haven.  I'm okay with the girls' names separately but all together in one family seems like too many trendy names (I guess a pattern is good!) but I'm just not feeling Huxley on a boy.  Seems better suited for a pet.

Re: "H" siblings

  • Huxley is bad.

There are so many nice names that start with H that this makes me scratch my head.

  • A friend of mine is considering Huxley, but for a girl. I guess it's a character from some book she read.

That's a whole lot of trendy mess for me.

Yep! I'm definitely giving Huxley the side eye.

Huxley makes me think of Huxtables (Cosby). I don't dislike the girls names - I'm a sucker for Harper, in spite of the trendiness. Not liking HadLEE, but my name ends in Lee (when it's traditionally Ley), and I'm named for someone named Lee, so maybe it's the same reason for that spelling.
