What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle?
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week?
QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house?
Re: TTC Tuesday Check-In 6/24
What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? 3rd cycle TTA, haven't really been charting but I expect my next cycle to start in about two weeks.
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week?
Ugh, DH, DS and I have all been sick with a cold. The boys seem to be getting better, but I am feeling worse today for some reason. I would really like to go do something fun this weekend, so I am hoping we all feel better by then.
QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house?
DS has been helping me set the table at dinnertime. It takes a lot of coaching at this point, but I think it's more the idea of doing something to help right now than actually being helpful.
We used to pick up his toys before bedtime every night and he was good about that, but lately I've been too tired to bother. I need to get that back into our routine somehow.
I'm all ears as far as other age-appropriate chores go. I definitely want to instill helpfulness in DS at an early age.
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week? Going to my 10 year HS reunion this weekend.
QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house? Right now DD picks up her toys and puzzles and puts them away. She will also try to sweep for me. I will sweep first then let her have at it. She also knows to put garbage in the trash can, and to put her empty cup on the counter when she is done.DD 12.2010
My first time joining your TTC group - hello to all
What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? cycle 6, CD11
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week? My Dec baby keeps ripping up books at daycare. Like, shredding them to millions of tiny bits of paper. We started calling her Bryony the Book Destroyer. I know, I know, it's not funny, but I am also not really getting anywhere with trying to discipline her on this.
QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house? I don't give chores - even my 6yr old doesn't have any. I do expect them both to help if I ask for something - like clean up the toys, or run upstairs and get your PJs on, etc. But no chores. I am way bigger on behaviour/manners than chores.*** BFP #3 - angel baby at 8w2d - D&C 1.31.14 ***

QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house?
I was just contemplating this! I haven't been as consistent with asking G to pick up his toys as I should be. So I guess that's kinda a chore. Really I need to think of something else like helping with dishes or watering plants. I def think they're old enough.
Sorry to hear that! I definitely know the feeling.
QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house?
She does ot have set chores but she does put her clothes in hamper, clean her room/toys. ( we s trying to be more consitant with this.)
She also helps set the table and takes dishes to the sink. She loooooves to sweep so she helps sweep kitchen after diner. She also likes helping with laundry.
What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? Cycle 4, 3dpo
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week? AUGH! I thought our timing was right, but it wasn't! My body ramped up to ovulate but then didn't until a few days later. As a result, we only DTD at O-2. Same as other months, so I'm not having much hope. DH promised me next month we'd actually make more of an effort (he's in the "let things happen naturally" camp, but our schedules are so opposite that we keep missing the window).
QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house? No set chores, but he LOVES to help. He cleans up, he helps put away dishes, he LOVES loading the washer and adding the soap...Oh I think I missed this question last week too. I also use the free. I was temping and doing OPKs when I was TTC, and I thought the free was sufficient. Some of the extra VIP features like the chart overlay tool are neat to play with, but it's nothing you actually need.
They do run specials periodically to dramatically discount the membership price, if you choose to go VIP. However, you might want to set up a fake FB account if you go this route, because you have to "like" them on FB to get the discount code. I'm pretty sure FB is the last place I want to talk about my family planning methods. LOL
This for me too!
Also, my EDD is officially feb. 9. Thanks!
Thanks!
Hey, I'm only 1 day late to check in this week. Whoo!
What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? Tuesday was CD4. This will be the second medicated cycle.
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week? My parents are coming to visit this weekend. B's been a bit of an extra beast for the past few days. I'm hoping he shows them his awesome side and not his terrible 2 side.
QOTW: Does your toddler have any chores? At what age will you have him/her start contributing around the house? I have him help me empty the dishwasher. I take out all the breakables and then he has to unload the rest. In the beginning he was super excited about it. Now he just wants to take out the butter knives and try to cut things with them - so it's pretty frustrating to try to get him to complete it. After dinner he's supposed to push in his chair and bring his plate over to the kitchen counter. I'm trying to remember to get him to set his table before dinner, but it's hit or miss on my end if I remember to ask him. I'd like to see him help with laundry more, but that's DH's domain and DH doesn't like that the helping slows things down.
