My BBT

So back to temping this month and I've noticed the beeps on my BBT sounds as if it's getting ready to die on me. After I just bragged to someone else about how great it is since I've had it since 2010!  Haha! Oh well still a long time for about 8 bucks! 

My question is, should I get a new one now since I'm only on CD 2 or just see how long it will last? The reason I ask is because I know others have talked about different BBTs can alter your chart.  So get rid of it now or get a new Mabis when it's completely donzo?

I would get a new one now.  I think that would be fine - I don't even temp during AF since I temp vaginally so I usually don't start temping until CD5 or 6.

I agree with the PP's. Go ahead and get a new one since you are just starting this cycle. It's better to have a new one now instead of it dying on you mid-cycle.

If you think it's dying, I would get a new one now.  If you're only a couple days into your cycle, if you do notice a temp difference, it's early enough it shouldn't affect your chart.

We have a division of labor. It's my job to relax and keep the thermometer under my tongue and give it back to him after it beeps. He does the rest.

That's.....uh. well.  It never occurred to me that temping could be a team effort.
