Last cycle I was using the Crinone 8% gel but since my insurance doesn't cover it and its SOOO expensive the Dr. gave me a prescription for a compounded progesterone suppository and I start that on CD14. The crinone was messy and I'm hoping these aren't as bad. Anyone on them?

I've been using OPK and started temping this cycle. That probably why I didn't get a clear positive on my OPK last cycle. Ugh, I want to punch my Dr. in the face. So do you start using them the day you get a pos OPK or the day after?
endometrin: (https://freedomfertility.com/fertility-medications/medications-and-pricing.aspx)
They are messy after a few days but that's normal. The side effects drove me crazy though, felt pregnant. I used them through 2ww, started them 3 days AFTER ovulation (I had IUIs done though)
Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
2 IUIs = BFN.
1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.

I see that everyone is putting 2-3DPO but do you have a regular LP? Mine is short, only 8 days with spotting on day 9. Do you think it matters on the length of your LP as to when to start it. I'm going to start them this cycle until 3dpo and hopefully they work and if we get KU it'll stick!
Where are you located? I'm in JUpiter and going to Litt & Kauffman
The length of your LP has no bearing on when you start them. 3 DPO on a cycle with a 14 day LP is the same as 3 DPO on a cycle with an 8 day LP. Them problem with doing this without knowing when you really O'd is...you don't know when to start them. I, personally, would not rely on OPKs alone.
