An acrosomal deficiency? We just got DH's SA back and the count is low (29 mil/mL), and the morphology is poor, with the note: "Oligospermia, about half the sperm present are within normal limits and about half have acrosomal deficiency."
I understand that this means the head of the sperm doesn't have the enzymes needed to penetrate the egg. That's about all I can find through my brief-ish google search. We have an appt with a urologist at a reproductive center on July 10th, but I'm just antsy. Anyone else going through this? Is IUI an option, or IVF?
Thanks!

Thanks for the replies! I'm glad we have a direction to go in but am anxious to hear what the doctor says. I've been having my husband take a multivitamin for the past few months. His testosterone dosage is pretty low but I'm curious if they think that's affecting it too.
We'll see I guess! Thanks.
