We watched Princess Protection Program last night on Disney and the main character was Carter, a teenage girl played by Selena Gomez. I thought it fit her well and didn't seem odd or boyish.
You would have to pair it with a super girly middle name, but I like it. WDYT?

I love it, but I'll be in the minority.
A friend has a niece named Carter Jane (they call her by her full name) and I think it's adorable!

Yuck.
Boy's names should be used on boys.
Monster Truck (It's a GIRL!) is due 19/02/2015!
I love both those options! I love boy names on girls and this one is great. I know a 3 year old girl with this name and it suits her well...she is adorable!
Just playing devil's advocate here but if she weren't "adorable" or lets say she goes through an awkward phase when she gets older - is it still so cute to saddler her with a name like that?
I dislike the idea that it's "cute" to put a masculine name on a girl and it works because she'll be "pretty" (this is not directed at you but at the trend as a whole)
