Has anyone tried the Baby Merlin Magic Sleepsuit? My LO is breaking out of her swaddle, but still startles a lot. The reviews for these are really good, but $40 seems like a lot of money to waste if it doesn't end up working.
I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. It works for me. She's been STTN since. My dd hasn't been swaddled since she was about a month old, she didn't like it at all. Her startle reflex kept waking her up and was difficult to get her back to sleep. Try amazon to see if it's cheaper, but it was worth the price. :-)
I like the halo sleepsack the one that you can put the arms in or not. She was getting out of regular swaddles but hasn't broken out of this one yet
That's actually what we've been using too. The fleece ones are tighter and hold better and seem to work well, but she breaks right out of the lighter cotton ones. Now that the weather is warm, unfortunately, the fleece ones are too heavy:(
We just started using ours this past week and he seems to like it. He does about an 8 hour stretch, eats and then does another 3 or 4.
I think it's a great transition to the sleep sack since he can get his hands to his face but it does seem to reign in his startle reflex.
Worth the money for us!

Thanks for the feedback! It's getting pretty warm here, and even with central air, our house is warm at night. Do you find that your LO ever gets too hot? Looking at them online, they look like they might be pretty heavy.

Wow, that sounds great! I'm dreaming of the day when I can get that much sleep again:)
