Getting nervous...fert report update EDITED

So I just got a call from my Dr. and it looks like we are down to 3 embryos.  So nervous we will lose them by tomorrow!

Anyone with IVF experience...do you think they would schedule an ET if they were worried about the remaining 3?  Has anyone had an ET scheduled and got there to find there was nothing?

Did they tell you how they looked? I only had 4 the day before ET. I had all four the next day, transferred 1 and 2 made it to freeze. 

The whole time they were telling me 2 were lagging and I did end up losing those 2.

No, my dr. called and left me a message (since it is someone else in the practice doing the ET tomorrow.  He just said on the message that he saw today that there were 3 embryos and was calling to wish me luck on the transfer tomorrow.  I guess I should look at that as a positive phone call now that thought about it but I am just a ball of nerves since this is my first IVF and I am not really sure what to expect about anything!

I know you want to have as many as possible...but just remember...it only takes ONE. A co-worker of mine did IVF (only one cycle) about 3 years ago...and went from 17 eggs down to just one embryo at ET time...and she now has a gorgeous daughter from that cycle.

Thanks everyone. I had a long chat with myself last night remembering that I have no control over this. What ever happens today happens. There are so many what if's they could drive us crazy. I decided to give I f a try a hopefully one day it will do the trick for us!

My first IVF they only retrieved 7 and by ET only two made it and I have a beautiful 22 month old.. Hang in there it only takes one..

Ok I got a call on day four that all had slowed down or arrested. I still did the transfer with three morali! They would have told you if they stopped growing or something was wrong like they told me. i think all is well for you!  You only need one! My next cycle I got seven beautiful blasts! I will be sending you good vibes!!!
