I don't have anything exciting planned. Sometimes this is a good thing! We'll probably continue working on refinishing our cabinets and some cleaning if we're up to it.
DH and I will be traveling to WY for a vendor party (I sell Scentsy). Afterwards there will be a bonfire.. I am REALLY looking forward to smores.. It's odd for me to be this excited since I'm not a big "sweets" person.
Sunday we will be going to town festivities. We are having carving contests, hot air balloon launches, etc.
Well since DH and I are in Michigan we're hoping that the weather stays good. We want to do some swimming this weekend. And we have a BBQ planned! Can't wait for some ribs and corn on the cobb right off the grill. Yummy!!!
Tonight I'm going to the Muny (Outdoor Municpal Theater) to see Spamalot with my sister. She gets season tickets for Mother's Day and I usually go with her unless it is a kid freindly show, then she takes my nephew.
The rest of the weekend I will probably spend getting ready for my business trip next week, that might involve shopping. My office is casual so the only time I dress up is when I am meeting with clients or vendors. I am in need of some new dress pants, since I have gained enough weight the last few years that nothing fits.

That sounds like a great weekend! S'mores are like a right of passage for summer.
I have nothing fun until Sunday. If the rain holds out it will be a parade and carnival fun with DH's family. Rain is a high possibility right now though.
DH and I are staying at a hotel downtown tomorrow night. We'll go out for a nice dinner & drinks Saturday, then breakfast and the zoo on Sunday. I'm pretty excited.
This weekend seems to be a little busy around these parts. Tonight I think we are having a bonfire at the house with close friends (its like a weekly ritual); tomorrow its off to the traveler's golf tournament. DH is an avid fan, and I quite frankly wander around to look at my other boyfriends, as DH says. Sunday, assuming the weather holds out and i don't get hauled into work, its a beach days with the girls. I thought weekends were supposed to be relaxing. I am getting tired just thinking about mine!
DH and I are going to a surprise birthday party and my friend is hosting for her husband tomorrow night. I'll also probably go running tomorrow and Sunday morning. We're planning to relax all day on Sunday.
This is DH's first free weekend in YEARS. He just switched from shift work to day work this week, and he's loving it!
We might go out to celebrate tonight at a local Mexican place, but I'm doing WW, so I'm thinking maybe we should celebrate in with some point-friendly tacos and skinny margaritas.
He wants to head into the city on Saturday and spend the day touring the sights and spending next-to-nothing. I'm on board with that!
I'm hoping to drag him out for a run on Saturday and a bike ride on Sunday.
We also have to hit up Home Depot to purchase flooring for the basement. They gave us a quote of $3000 to get it done... for vinyl sheet flooring? NO THANKS! We can buy the supplies for less than $400. It's not that hard to do.
A pre-k graduation party today and I am hoping to convince dh to go to the NJ state fair tomorrow. They had this deep fried peanut butter and jelly last year, and I have been thinking about it! I hope they have it again!

I have no plans. DH has 2 papers & 2 midterms to turn in & he starts traveling again on Sunday. I'll be pretty much on my own most of the weekend. I'd love to go to the shore, but eff that traffic! I need a life!
I have a bridal shower to go to tomorrow afternoon. It's at a mini golf place, so I guess I'm going mini golfing! No other plans really...we really need to get some yard work done!
Sunday is my first anniversary. I'm trying to come up with something fun to do with my H. We will probably just end up hanging out at our house and being boring.

Off topic - have you seen the news updates in Calgary (and much of Alberta)?? H & I may need to keep our plans flexible out there, I think a number of bridges have been washed out and such.... Yikes! Hope everyone out that way is staying safe!
My weekend: H & I may take the pup out for a hike so I can keep breaking in my hiking boots before hitting the Rockies next month. The house could use a little TLC too, which is less exciting but a reality.

That is crazy stuff! My poor sister flew all the way out there from Bermuda yesterday, only to find out that the beautiful hotel in Banff that they were supposed to be staying at and attending a wedding at, is inaccessible! They ended up staying in an airport hotel last night and the poor bride has 80% of her guests, including her mom, trapped on the wrong side of that mess!
