So, I love the name Emily Grace, but is it mean if her initials are EGG!?

I know that leaves her open to a bit of harassment possibly...

Any other suggestions for a middle name?

Kids are going to tease about all sorts of things - hair color, choice of friends, clothing, height, ability to play kickball, etc. You can't control it all. Yes, some names and initials really should be avoided (Shithead (joke!), A S S, etc), but eventually you have to draw a line. EGG is so harmless in the great scheme of life.

I completely agree with this. You may be way over thinking it.

I think the initials are NBD, but I would give second thought to using Grace in the MN spot (unless it has special significance to you) because it's an uber popular MN right now.

Before I got married, my initials with first and last name were EG. The only person who ever called me "egg" was a really cute boy who I grew up with. I personally didn't mind it at all, and I think he is the only one who ever made the association. If you love the name, don't let that deter you.

FWIW, I also grew up with a male whose initials were PMS. While everyone was aware of it, no one ever made fun of him for it.

I wouldn't worry about EGG, it's not a bad word or anything. If that's your first choice I'd go with it. There are a lot of people out there whose name spells a word, or an acronym, and there are new ones coming that we don't know yet. NBD.
