DH "trying" to help...

Hah. Honestly I see now more than ever that I need my "I can do it myself" shirt and attitude I had back at age 8!!! My DH is the biggest procrastinator lately, anyone else getting that? He's really a great guy and so supportive, but lately getting things done, especially concerning baby's room or gear, is not on his radar. He got so mad aka I hurt his pride when I had an old friend put our curtains up in our house when we first bought it. Now he's been "working on" the curtains in baby's room for two weeks. He just "eyeballed" the height on one side after measuring the other and I knew it was a bad idea. He's not the type to not do something right the first time either, so this is weird for him! Turns out, he finally gets the right hardware up snd the curtains are crooked! whoddathunk??? But I may tie this to his version of prego brain, pretty sure he's got it as bad as me now lol!!

  • Mine is the exact opposite. Type A, and a perfectionist. If there is something to be done, it must be done right now, correctly, and must be finished at all costs.

The guy wears. Me. Out.  Especially now that I'm pregnant. :S

Same!! Although, I did have to nag a little to get him to go through his clothes.

  • Yes! My husband has been messing up so much lately during tasks! He laid down new floor in our kitchen and somehow broke the water line to the ice machine. He also chipped the kitchen cabinets in the process. He knocked my mirror off when he pulled my car in the garage to change my brakes. He dropped a drill on the new floor as he was hanging curtains and chipped it. The list goes on and on. Baby brain by proxy.
