Trying to Get Pregnant

TTC stress and taking all these meds

I have never posted before because I have always been told, "stop trying and it will happen" so I don't really share my worries. I am 23 and have been diagnosed with anovulation. For those of you that don't know what that is I don't ovulate, at all on my own. I have gone two years at the longest and not had a period. I have an amazing doctor that I have only found in April and he got me on Provera which makes me have a period and in turn ovulate. I love this doctor he is really amazing. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 2 years because I knew I had problems. I would like to talk to some women who have the same issue and have a baby as a sucess story. Last week I started taking Metformin and hopefully in a week I will start Clomid. Anyone know about these personally? I googled and and found a lot of sucess stories but no one with anovulation. I haven't read anything helpful.

Re: TTC stress and taking all these meds

  • I have no experience with that but I just wanted to say that I hope you are under the care of a Reproductive Endocrinologist as Clomid can be dangerous if you are not properly monitored. Good luck!

  • I do not have an RE but my dr specializes in women who can not have children, everyone is a sucess story and he has been doing this for a very long time and I trust him. I have not had the HSG done but we are talking that as the next step just to test, my insurance does not cover it so thats why we are waiting, but we don't think I have blockage because I have had two miscarriages
