ER in the AM...melting down tonight

So...I don't think I'm nervous, but I've broken down in tears 3x today over the most ridiculous things.  AND...I only got 4 hours of sleep and just pulled 14 hours of work to make sure I was caught up before I take 2 days off.  UGH...DH is hanging in there, poor fella...he's gotten most of the brunt of the melt down.

BTW...I'm starting to bloat big time...and I thought that came after the ER.  :P

  • Totally normal. I try my best to hold it together before ER, but it does get stressful! Try not to think about it too much tomorrow and do your best just to go with the flow of ER, at least that's what worked for me. I always have a : why me : moment before ER, it sucks to have to go through any of this, just try to have your moment and move on from it. You've got this! GL!

  • Ticker/Siggy Warning

I was like that too before mine and honestly it was no big deal.  It was kind of cool because I could see the eggs in the microscope tv.  It only hurt for a second and then they gave me more meds.  (And that is only because my one ovary hides behind my uterus and they had to go through my uterus to get to it.)  I will say an extra prayer for you today.  Its not as bad as you think it will be - promise.  Good luck!

  • You'll do great today! ER was seriously a breeze. Expect to have cramping after, but that's totally normal! I didn't know what to expect before mine and that had me freaked out. Plus, this is a big deal! Between the hormones, growing eggs, all the science behind it, that's a lot of pressure on us! I cried multiple times the day before ER and even on the way to ER in the car! Our poor DH's have to put up with a lot! I was also pretty bloated before, but after it had gone down a little. My nurse said ther will be some bloating when your ovaries are the size of baseballs! I'm bloated again a little today, but the nurse said to expect that from the fluid. So, that might or might not happen to you, too. GL today! You'll do great!!!
