What do you think of this idea?

The clothing post before got me thinking.  I am done having children but there are some outfits that I just loved that I would have a hard time getting rid of.  I was thinking maybe I could take those pieces that I am sentimental about and make a quilt out of them (well have one made since I have no idea how to sew).

You could save some as well if you have the room. My mom gave me some of my old clothing from when I was a baby and it was great to put them on Regan (her take home outfit was my take home outfit). 

Also, you could save some of them for dolls.

 

We have the space, but with 4 boys I don't think that they will be as sentimental about them as I am.  Plus DH's mother saved EVERYTHING and I remember being so annoyed that she tried giving us all this stuff that was 30+ years old.

I think it's an awesome idea. I definitely plan to do this with the clothes/blankets that I just can't part with.
